Adrienne Thomas

Adrienne Denise Thomas passed away peacefully on April 7, 2025. Adrienne was a phenomenal woman. Her journey on earth was marked by love; Adrienne’s life had a profound impact on the world, especially in the lives of her family and children. She was a vibrant, passionate soul known for her warm smile, loving, sentimental spirit, wonderful laugh, and her unwavering dedication to her family and friends. Family was always first and foremost in her mind and heart; her pride was in her three children, Aria, Avion, and Rainey.

Adrienne was born on August 5, 1982, and has been a longtime resident of Charlotte, NC. She attended Garinger High School and after earning her GED, studied at Central Piedmont Community College. Adrienne spent many years giving back to her community as a nursing assistant and a vet technician, always striving to make a positive impact through her work. She loved going to the beach and spending time with her family and friends. Psalm 127:3 says, “Children are a gift from the Lord...” Adrienne brought three precious gifts into this world. She was a loving, dedicated mother who loved her children more than anything. They are her greatest accomplishment, and her legacy lives on through them.

Adrienne holds a special place in the hearts of her loved ones as a devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her husband, Arslan Thomas, and three children, Aria Desirée Thomas, Avion Joshua Thomas, and Rainey Autumn Eve Thomas; her loving parents, Angela J. Caldwell and Hosie Caldwell Jr.; her sister, Lauren Patrice Caldwell; her mother-in-law, Yvette (William) Ponder; her sisters-in-law, Vachon (Taresha) Broadneaux and Kersyne (Bernard) Redcross; her brother-in-law, Christian (Jasmine) Andrews; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

The public viewing will take place on Thursday, April 17 from 2 PM ET through 7 PM ET at Magnolia Funeral and Cremation Services (11240 E. Independence Blvd. Matthews, NC 28105).

The life of Adrienne Denise Thomas will be celebrated on Friday, April 18, 2025 at New Waves of Joy Baptist Church (4739 East W.T. Harris Blvd. Charlotte, NC 28215). A viewing is scheduled at 2 PM ET with service to follow at 3 PM ET. Repast to follow for family and close friends.
