Kenneth D. Williams

Mr. Kenneth D. Williams, 95, of Fayetteville, went to be with Jesus at 11:40 pm on June 8, 2025 at Sunflower Springs Senior Living of Lake Wiley, SC. He resided in the Charlotte area since 2004.
Born in Hope Mills, NC, Mr. Williams was predeceased by his wife, Mary Ruth Guiton, to whom he was married for 74 years.
Mr. Williams was a member of Central Church in Charlotte. Previously he was a member of Northwood Temple in Fayetteville.
Mr. Williams joined the USAF in 1948 and served in Texas, Germany (1953-55), North Carolina (1955-61), Japan (1962-64), DC (1965-69). He received honors for WWII Army Occupation, Defense Service Medal for Korea and Vietnam, AF Commendation Medal and the Bronze Star. He retired in 1969 then worked at GAC Finance (1970-87) and Chrysler First CU (1987-94).
Kenneth is survived by: Sons, Kenneth L. Williams, wife Bonnie, and Richard D. Williams, wife Jean; grandchildren Karen L. Everett and Phillip A. Williams; 4 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-granddaughter.
Services: A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 11, 2025 at Lafayette Memorial Park, Fayetteville, NC.
Public Viewing : 12:00-12:30 pm at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Home, in Fayetteville.
