
Vincent Johnson
VIncent M Johnson, Partner and Managing Director of Magnolia Funeral & Cremation Services, was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. Vincent started working at the funeral home at the age of 14. Rev. Donald H. Jordan offered him a summer job, nurtured, taught and trained him to have an eye for detail and to serve each family in excellence. He is a 1994 graduate of Princeton City School District and attended Xavier University before enrolling at The Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science to pursue his Funeral Service Degree. Vincent graduated from CCMS in 2001 with a Bachelor Degree in Mortuary Science and special honors for his proficiency in embalming. After graduating, he worked as an Apprentice Funeral Director and Embalmer at the Jon Deitloff Funeral Centre (Spring Grove Funeral Homes), in Cincinnati, Ohio. After successfully completing his apprenticeship, he moved on to manage Jamison & Jamison Funeral Homes until 2006.
In the later months of 2006, Vincent got an invitation to assist his best friend and study partner from mortuary school. Alan Turner had the vision of opening his own funeral home in the suburbs of Charlotte, NC. Vincent officially moved to Charlotte in March of 2010 and assisted Alan with his project until his untimely transition in 2017. Vincent continued to work on the project in Alan’s absence and Magnolia was born on September 18, 2024.
Vincent is an accomplished organist and has served as Minister of Music for many churches over the years. He’s currently a member of the NFDA and serves as the proud Pastor of the Unity Fellowship Church of Charlotte. In his spare time, Vincent enjoys traveling, fishing, cooking and spending quality time with family.

Aaron Raley Jr.
Aaron E. Raley Jr. is a seasoned professional in the funeral industry, with over a decade of experience serving and supporting families. Born and raised in Charlotte, NC, Aaron has been dedicated to providing compassionate and dignified services to those in need.
Aaron utilizes his expertise to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer care. Known for his unique and meaningful "Crowning" ceremonies, Aaron honors loved ones with dignity and respect.
A devoted husband and father of four, Aaron prioritizes his spiritual growth and community involvement as a faithful member of Kingdom City Church under Prophet Brian K. Carn Jr.'s leadership. His commitment to his faith and his passion for serving others drive his professional endeavors.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Aaron cherishes time with his wife, Shekinah, and their four children: Jalen, Jayceon, Judah, and Jireh. He also enjoys traveling and exploring new experiences with his loved ones.

Alexia Fetterson

A proud native of Charlotte, NC, I am a Licensed Funeral Director at Magnolia Funerals and Cremations, where I am honored to serve the families of Charlotte, Matthews, and the surrounding areas. With over 13 years in the funeral industry and 11 years as a licensed teacher, my passion lies in helping others—whether guiding students in the classroom or providing compassionate care to families during times of loss.
I am a National Funeral Directors Association Licensed Celebrant and a Certified Cremation Services Provider, ensuring that every family I serve receives personalized, respectful, and professional care. Additionally, I specialize in Pre-Need Insurance, a type of life insurance policy that helps families plan ahead by covering funeral and burial costs—giving them peace of mind during difficult times.
I believe that funeral service is truly the work of the Lord, and I am blessed to be given the chance to bring closure and comfort to those who are grieving.
Outside of my professional calling, I enjoy online shopping, listening to audiobooks, and weightlifting. My favorite scripture, Isaiah 26:3-4, reminds me daily of the peace and strength that comes from trusting in the Lord.

Janet Black
As a dedicated professional and servant leader, I proudly hold an Associate Degree from Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service, the class of 2023. Additionally, I am a Certified Crematory Operator. Born in Florence, South Carolina, I am deeply rooted in my faith and humbly serve in multiple roles at The River Church in Charlotte, including Deaconess, Choir Director, and Church Administrator.
Professionally, I leverage my analytical expertise as an Analyst at The American Red Cross. Outside of my professional and spiritual pursuits, I cherish moments spent with my loving family and enjoy leisure activities such as bowling, cooking, and riding my bike.

Alexis Welch
Alexis Welch is an apprentice at Magnolia Funeral Service in Charlotte, NC. She works closely with Vincent Johnson and is passionate about helping people during their times of loss. Alexis graduated from Western Carolina University in 2017 with a degree in Environmental Health and later earned an honors degree in Funeral Service Education from Fayetteville Technical Community College in July 2022. She has passed the National Board Exam of Arts and Science and is currently completing her traineeship to become a licensed funeral director and embalmer in North Carolina. A personal connection to her work is highlighted by her experience in preparing her late mother, Angela Jordan-Welch, which deepened her commitment to this vocation. I am a avid ice cream lover.

Jeremy Wilkins
I am a compassionate and driven professional, born in Robersonville, North Carolina in 1982. After graduating from North Pitt High School in 2002, I pursued higher education at Shaw University and later earned my degree in Health Science from ECPI University. Currently, I work in Public Health at Novant Medical Center, where I am dedicated to promoting health and wellness in my community. In addition to my work, I am also passionate about serving others and am an active member of Unity Fellowship Church.
I regularly volunteer to feed the homeless and support those in need. As I continue to grow and develop in my career, I am currently attending Fayetteville Technical Community College to become a funeral director. I am excited to pursue this new path and provide support and care to families during difficult times.
Outside of my professional and academic pursuits, I enjoy exploring new places through travel, indulging in delicious food, and treating myself to retail therapy. I am also a proud member of Nu Pi Zeta Fraternity Inc. and value the connections and opportunities that Magnolia provides.

Diane Columbus
"Diane Columbus is a seasoned Public Relations Agent with a unique blend of experience in the medical field, sales, and customer service. Born in Greece and raised in Chicago, Diane earned her Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and a certificate in Ultrasound. After transitioning to public relations, she found a natural fit, leveraging her skills to drive business success.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Diane enjoys the outdoors, reading, music, and entertaining. A proud resident of South Carolina, she cherishes time with her family and four grandchildren. As a dedicated member of the Magnolia team, Diane brings her infectious energy, compassion, and business acumen to promote the company's continued success."

Dewon Tyndall
With over six years of experience in funeral preparation, Dewon brings both skill and compassion to Magnolia Funeral & Cremation Services. As a licensed cosmetologist, Dewon specializes in dressing, makeup application, and hair styling for the deceased, ensuring each person is presented with dignity and care. He chose this field out of a deep desire to serve families during one of the most difficult times in their lives,
Outside of work, Dewon enjoys gardening, decoration, traveling, hosting memorable gatherings for family and friends- and has a deep love for fashion and the Lord. Dewon’s attention to detail and caring spirit ensures every family’s loved one is honored with grace and respect.

Nazae Frierson
With over a decade of experience in the funeral industry, I have dedicated my career to serving and comforting families during their most difficult times. Born and raised in Paterson, NJ, I carry a deep commitment to treating every individual with care, equality and respect. My journey in this meaningful profession began at the age of 15 under the guidance of Rev. Frederick H. Lagarde Jr. and Shane Wint, whose mentorship shaped my compassionate approach to bereavement care.
Combining expertise in mortuary sciences with advanced training in cosmetology and preparation, I take pride in providing personalized and dignified services that honor the memory of loved ones. Beyond my professional life, I channel my passion for ministry through music as a drummer for Gilgal Christian Center in Charlotte, NC, where I find joy in uplifting and inspiring others in my faith community.
